Registration fee and event fee are different

When signing up, you will have two main fees that you will encounter. The first is the Registration fee which simply gets you into the tournament. The next is an event fee. The event fee is the event/division you will be participating in. For example if your playing mixed doubles the event fee may be $25. All in all, if your Registration fee is $50 and your event fee is $25 then your all in at $75 for the tournament. If you have questions on this please contact us.

using dupr to best place you into your division

Pickleball Power Play uses DUPR as a barrier for entry for this event. If you do not have a DUPR, simply choose the division that best fits your skill set. If you need help with this please contact us.

players can play up half a point

Players in Power Play events are allowed to play up by half point. Here is an example: If you are a 3.3 DUPR player, you can play in the following divisions: (3.0-3.49) and (3.5-3.9). We know that with constant rating challenges this will help players not only challenge themselves but play in the appropriate levels.

registration is only for you not your partner

When you register for a Power Play event through Pickleball Tournamenets.com you will only have the ability to pay for yourself and not your parter. Your partner will still need to register themselves and pay their own fees. If you have questions on this please contact us.

Power play sunday / live broadcast

Power Play Sunday is reserved for qualified divisions in which these matches will be streamed live. For example, if you play on Saturday and make it to the finals then you will play your match on Power Play Sunday at a designated time. Tournament Events/Divisions

How Did We Determine These Divisions?

Each venue is like a unique pickleball court puzzle, and the number of courts sets the pieces! While some venues let us spread out and expand our division list, others cozy us up for a more intimate play. But no matter the size, at Pickleball Power Play, our top priority is to keep you in the game, serving and scoring! Remember, it's the venue's size that shapes the divisions, but it's our mission to ensure you enjoy plenty of action on the court.

Tournament disclaimer

Our primary objective is to ensure minimal wait times while guaranteeing ample play for all participants. In the event of uneven teams within a round robin draw, some teams may receive a bye. This approach is taken to maintain the fairness and integrity of the tournament. Should specific level draws not be met, our directors will promptly communicate with the affected participants. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please read our Rules and Policy.
