HOW TO REGISTER FOR LEAGUES
This page provides a complete step-by-step guide for registering in Pickleball Power Play leagues.
CAPTAIN/CREATE A TEAM
This guide is specifically designed for players who want to create and captain a team. Captains will complete the full registration process, set up the team, and invite players to join their roster.
PLAYERS LOOKING TO JOIN A TEAM
If you are joining a team and already have a captain, your captain must send you an invite link to complete registration. If you do not have a captain or team yet, please contact Pickleball Power Play and we’ll help connect you with a captain in your region.
CAPTAIN/CREATE A TEAM STEP BY STEP GUIDE
Step 1: Create a Matchtime Account
All league registrations are managed through Matchtime. Before registering, make sure you have an active account on Matchtime.com and that you are logged in.
Important - This league also requires a DUPR account. If you don't have a DUPR account please sign up for one. This is the rating system used for this league.
Step 2: Select Your League
Visit the Pickleball Power Play league page and choose the league you would like to participate in. Once you have found your region click START TEAM.
Step 3: Find Your League Division
Once your on this page -
- Make sure that you are logged into MatchTime.com
- Locate the league Play Level you want to play in.
- You can either click the PLAY LEVEL or you can Click SIGN UP NOW
Step 4: Create Your Team
On this page make sure you fill out ALL fields.
- Select the Team Playing Level you want to play in.
- Create your team name.
Home Facility
- Start typing the facility you wish to play out of. If the facility does not populate click Add New Facility in blue.
Step 4b: Adding a Facility
Adding a facility is very easy. Simply fill out all the required fields.
Once you have completed the fields, click Check & Create Facility which is the blue button at the bottom.
Step 5: Complete Registration
You will be returned to the main registration page.
Confirm that your facility is highlighted in green and that the green checkmark is selected.
Click Pay by Card and Register to finalize your team registration. Your team will now appear in your Matchtime Dashboard.
Step 6: Adding Players To Your Roster
From your dashboard:
- Click the green ADD / EDIT & INVITE PLAYER button
Step 7: Fill out Their Info and Send Invite
From your dashboard:
- Under Add New Member, enter your teammates’ information
- Click Add Member to add them to your roster
Once added, players will appear on the right side of the screen.
Select the checkbox next to each player’s name and click Send Invite Email.
Your teammates will receive an email and complete their registration directly through MatchTime, register and join your team.
Step 8: YES! Congrats! Registration Complete
Congrats! You have completed the registration for the league.
Here is whats going to happen next.
You will get contacted by a league coordinator to follow up and assist you with player rosters, schedules, etc.
