Pickleball Power Play Announces the Launch of Its Senior National Amateur Tour

A new senior-exclusive tournament series built for players 50+ with more games, better formats, and a national championship pathway.
Pickleball Power Play is officially launching the Pickleball Power Play Senior Tour, a new national amateur tournament series created exclusively for senior pickleball players ages 50 and up.
The Senior Tour will bring the full Power Play tournament experience to senior players across the country, with qualifier events planned in multiple cities including Fort Worth, Dallas, Kansas, Nashville, Tennessee, Georgia and more. Each event will give senior players the opportunity to compete in organized age and skill-based divisions while playing the format that has helped define Pickleball Power Play.
The Senior Tour officially kicks off in Fort Worth, Texas, July 10–12, 2026, at The Picklr West Fort Worth.
A Senior-Only Tour Built Around More Games
Unlike many tournament formats that leave players with only a handful of games, the Pickleball Power Play Senior Tour will continue using the same player-first format that Power Play is known for.
Players can expect:
All matches 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2
Round robin format
Age-based divisions
Skill-based divisions
Qualifier events across the nation
Pathway to the Senior National Championship event
The goal is simple: give senior players more meaningful matches, better competition, and a true national tournament experience designed specifically for them.
Senior Qualifiers Leading to a National Championship
Every Senior Tour event will serve as a qualifying opportunity for the upcoming Pickleball Power Play Senior National Championship, which is currently planned for Dallas, Texas.
The official date, venue, and full national championship details will be announced soon.
This creates a clear path for senior players across the country to compete locally, qualify regionally, and work toward a national senior championship experience.
Dedicated Senior Top Players List
As part of the Senior Tour launch, Pickleball Power Play will also introduce a dedicated Senior Top Players List, highlighting standout senior players from across the nation.
This list will give senior athletes more visibility and recognition while helping build excitement around the growing senior competitive pickleball community.

The Pickleball Power Play Senior Tour was created to give 50+ players a tournament experience that feels organized, competitive, fair, and worth the investment.
