At Pickleball Power Play, our top priority has always been — and will always be — the safety of our players, families, staff, and partners

As many of you are aware, a major arctic storm is forecasted to impact North Texas, bringing significant snow, icy roads, and hazardous travel conditions. After closely monitoring the situation and consulting with venue and operations teams, we’ve made the difficult but responsible decision to postpone all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday play for the Fort Worth Power Play tournament.
What Is Still Happening
Thursday singles will proceed as scheduled
New Tournament Dates (Postponed Matches)
All matches originally scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will now take place on:
Friday, February 27
Saturday, February 28
Sunday, March 1
Important Scheduling Note
To keep things as seamless as possible:
If you were scheduled to play on Friday, you will still play on Friday
Saturday players remain Saturday
Sunday players remain Sunday, including Championship Court and Power Play Sunday
Everything you were preparing for — divisions, formats, championship matches, and live broadcasts — stays exactly the same. Only the calendar moves. If something changes with your division we will contact you.
The Event Experience Remains Unchanged
We are extremely excited to confirm that the Fort Worth Power Play tournament will still feature:
Live-broadcasted championship matches
Power Play Sunday
Championship Court production
A premier event experience proudly sponsored by Evexias Medical Group
This event is shaping up to be something truly special, and postponing ensures we can deliver it safely, fully, and at the level our players expect.
Why We Made This Decision
With the size and severity of the incoming storm, we simply do not feel comfortable asking players to travel under conditions that could put them at risk. While postponements are never easy, we firmly believe this decision reflects our responsibility to the pickleball community.
If you are unable to attend on the new dates, please contact us directly so we can connect with you.
Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and your trust. We can’t wait to bring everyone back together once conditions improve and deliver an incredible Fort Worth Power Play championship weekend.
Stay safe, stay warm — we’ll see you on the courts soon.
