FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below you will find a list of the most asked questions regarding our leagues. If you have further questions please contact us.
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?
Each league costs $75 per player.
If you want to be a team captain, there is an additional $25 captain fee.
That means:
-
A captain pays $25 (captain fee) + $75 (player fee) = $100 total
-
All other players on the team pay $75 each
Important:
League fees are separate from State Championship fees.
If your team qualifies for the State Championships, additional fees will apply later. The league fee does not cover State Championship costs.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
To sign up, browse the available leagues and select the league you want to play in.
Each league will have a registration link.
-
If you are a captain, you will use the link to create a team.
-
If you are not a captain, you will need a special invite link from a team captain to join their roster.
If you need help signing up or finding the correct link, please reach out to Pickleball Power Play — we’re happy to help.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A TEAM TO PLAY ON?
That’s okay. You can still sign up as a free agent.
Signing up as a free agent lets captains in your area know that you are looking for a team. This does not guarantee you will be placed on a team, but it puts your name on a list that captains can see.
We will also do our best to help connect players with teams when possible.
DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR COURTS?
Court fees are not included in the league fee.
Each team captain chooses a home base or club to play out of.
It is up to the venue or club to decide if they charge court fees.
Some venues may charge fees, and some may not.
Team captains are responsible for:
-
Coordinating with the club
-
Reserving courts for league nights
-
Communicating any court fees to their players
Each league night requires three courts per division.
